The Made in UK Day campaign has been created by Make it British to celebrate the UK manufacturing industry. As one of the leading manufacturers of wire mesh products in the UK, we felt it is important to celebrate Made in UK day 2023!
It started as a blog by ex-retail buyer Kate Hills to champion the diverse range of products made in the UK. UK manufacturing is worth £192 billion to the UK economy and employs 2.7 million people. Statistics like the aforementioned demonstrate how vital the manufacturing industry is to this country.
