Can I get a credit account?
Yes, we would ask you to complete our account opening forms so that we can get a credit limit approved by our insurance. Unfortunately, sometimes we may not be able to get credit limit for you and we would ask you to pay proforma for the first few orders to get a payment history with us. We may also do payment schedules on orders which can help you out during this time. We would do our upmost to help where we can.
Can QTS supply racking, shelving and accessories for the same project?
Yes. QTS can supply warehouse racking, industrial racking, shelving, protection, signage, labelling and storage accessories for trade-led projects.
Can warehouse shelving be used with pallet racking?
Yes. Shelving is often used alongside pallet racking in mixed storage layouts, especially where a warehouse stores both palletised goods and smaller hand-picked items.
Do we accept credit cards?
Unfortunately, we don’t.
Does QTS supply direct to end users?
No. QTS is a trade-only supplier, working with storage professionals rather than selling directly to end users.
How quick can I get delivery of stock size decks?
Lead time on stock decks are 7-10 working days
Is QTS a pallet racking supplier or manufacturer?
QTS is a trade-only supplier of pallet racking systems and warehouse storage products. We work with trusted UK and European manufacturers to supply installers, distributors, integrators and storage professionals.
What are your bank details?
All our bank details are on the bottom of our invoices, In the body of the email the invoices are sent with or on our statement. If you need them to be verified they you can always call accounts and they will be more than happy to do this.
What are your payment terms?
All our accounts are 30 days from date of invoice. Unless you have agreed extended payment terms with your account manager or if you have a large project then this can sometimes be agreed within the quote.
What finish would you use on wire mesh products that are going to be used outside?
Hot-Dipped Galvanised is the most suitable solution for outdoor use
What is adjustable pallet racking?
Adjustable pallet racking is a flexible racking system that gives direct access to each pallet location and allows beam levels to be adjusted as storage requirements change.
What is drive-in racking used for?
Drive-in racking is used for high-density pallet storage where pallets are stored in lanes. It is commonly used for bulk goods, batch storage or higher-volume stock profiles.
What is longspan shelving?
Longspan shelving provides wider bays for bulkier hand-loaded goods, including cartons, boxes, packaged items and irregular stock.
What is our standard wire thickness on decks?
We use a 4mm wire. Like most of our products, this can be changed to suit your needs

Shortspan shelving is a compact shelving system used for smaller items such as parts, tools, consumables and maintenance stock.
What is the difference between racking and shelving?
Racking is used for palletised goods handled by forklift. Shelving is used for hand-loaded goods such as cartons, tools, components, consumables and picking stock.
What is the difference between warehouse racking and industrial racking?
Warehouse racking covers standard pallet racking systems for forklift-handled storage. Industrial racking is used where a more specialist or heavier-duty specification is needed, such as cantilever, narrow aisle, wide aisle, double deep or heavy-duty pallet racking.
What is the difference between warehouse racking and shelving?
Warehouse racking is usually used for palletised goods handled by forklift. Warehouse shelving is used for smaller goods, cartons, tools or components that are picked and handled manually.

What is the lead time for bespoke orders?
You will find this information at the bottom of your order acknowledgement. The lead time depends on our production plan and availability of stock, If you need more information or wish to discuss your lead time, contact your account manager.
