Abigail appointed QTS's first Director of Operations

QTS Limited, the fast growing manufacturer  of bespoke warehouse and racking accessories, has announced the appointment of Abigail Owen as Director of Operations, effective from 1st October 2011. The appointment is made as QTS moves further to become a 'one source' manufacturer of all racking and warehouse equipment.

Abigail who began her career with QTS in 2005 will play a key role in shaping the future of the company by overseeing all aspects of the  QTS manufacturing, quality assurances and technical support staff. Other important duties include the introduction of a UK manufacturing plant for easySHELF wire mesh decking system at the Hinckley HQ which will see a substantial reduction in lead times of bespoke decks.

"The appointment of Abigail as QTS's first Director of Operations is a significant milestone in the history of our company", said Shaun Ingram, QTS's Managing Director. "Abigail will fulfil a vital strategic executive role as QTS continues to grow rapidly and expand its product ranges with the introduction of new and innovative warehouse and storage solutions over the next 12 months and beyond".

“Since joining QTS in 2005 when the Easyshelf was first launched I have enjoyed working for a dynamic company where the word “No” is very rarely used. Moving to our own warehouse and office facility last year meant QTS could really offer a high level of customer service that is second to none within the racking and storage industry. As Operations Director and having the benefit of an enthusiastic dedicated team of people, I believe the future of QTS is a very exciting one”
