Dear Valued Reader, Customer, Colleague, Friend,

On March 24th, 2020, we notified you of the very difficult decision to temporarily suspend our production activities, a decision made to safeguard our valued stakeholders.

The world is continually adjusting to extremely complex, fast paced and unprecedented events. Businesses seek to find the careful balance between supporting essential work and maintaining the very highest levels of safety for their employees, customers and suppliers.

At QTS, we’ve continued to adjust the way we run our business as we respond to the latest guidance from Government and this week has demonstrated more than ever, that our business, directly and indirectly, impacts essential work, such as Medical, Pharmaceutical and Food industries to name a few.

QTS appreciates the importance of supporting the ongoing cycle of essential work and recognises the great efforts of our Nations heroes, the key workers on the front line across many sectors.

Therefore, we will re-commence our production activities with effect from Monday 6th April; however, we have taken significant steps to safeguard our production team, so we will be running at limited capacity and prioritising essential work.

I wanted to write and update you on the measures we’re taking:

Safety

  • We introduced new social distancing measures and provided substantial health and wellbeing measures in line with Government advice.
  • To aid social distancing, we have reduced our production operatives to 1 per production area.
  • Our production operatives are working to strict working guidelines, with implemented staggered breaks.
  • All key office-based employees are working remotely; however, we are operating with a limited workforce at this time
